ShipRight Courier is committed to clear, honest, and professional operations. Please read the policies below carefully.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of ShipRight Courier’s services, website, customer portal, and any related shipping, freight forwarding, sourcing, or mailbox services. By using our services or creating an account, you agree to these Terms in full.
ShipRight Courier provides package receiving, consolidation, freight forwarding (air and sea), customs documentation assistance, and delivery/pickup coordination between the United States (primarily Miami) and Jamaica. We are a freight forwarder and logistics facilitator, not a common carrier.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShipRight Courier’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific shipment in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business opportunities.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, port congestion, strikes, customs delays, carrier issues, or government actions.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of St. Catherine or Kingston, Jamaica.
ShipRight Courier respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services or website.
We use your data to provide shipping and tracking services, communicate about your shipments, comply with customs requirements, improve our services, and send important notices. We do not sell your personal information.
We may share necessary information with carriers, customs brokers, government agencies (for legitimate customs clearance), and trusted service providers. All third parties are bound by confidentiality obligations.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at info@shiprightcourier.com. We will respond within a reasonable time in accordance with applicable law.
ShipRight Courier is a logistics service. Once a package has been shipped from our Miami facility or received by us, many costs are non-refundable. The following guidelines apply:
In the rare event a package is lost or severely damaged while in our physical possession, we will work with you and the carrier to file a claim. Compensation is limited to the declared value or our published liability limits, whichever is lower. Insurance is available upon request for high-value items.
Customs duties, taxes, and brokerage fees paid to Jamaican authorities or third parties are never refundable by ShipRight Courier, even if the package is refused or returned.
Transit times are estimates only. Actual delivery depends on carrier schedules, customs clearance speed, weather, port conditions, and operational capacity.
Typical transit: 3–7 business days from receipt at our Miami warehouse to availability for pickup or delivery in Jamaica. This does not include the time for your package to arrive in Miami from the seller.
Sea shipments typically take 18–35 days door-to-port or port-to-port depending on origin and consolidation schedules. Sea freight is not suitable for time-sensitive cargo.
Pickup locations operate during published hours. Delivery is offered as a convenience and is subject to route availability, package size/weight, and customer confirmation. We reserve the right to require pickup for oversized or restricted items.
You are responsible for providing a correct, complete delivery address. ShipRight Courier is not liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by you.
We accept bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and other methods as displayed in the customer portal. All payments must be received before packages are released for pickup or delivery.
Detailed invoices are available in your customer portal. You are expected to review and pay invoices promptly. Late payments may result in storage fees or delays in future shipments.
Any billing disputes must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the invoice date. After this period, the invoice is considered accepted.
All packages arriving at our Miami warehouse are subject to the following:
Our Miami facility is secure and insured for general liability. Specific shipment insurance is available for an additional premium upon request.
Important Notice:
ShipRight’s Miami address is provided strictly for export-eligible shipments destined for Jamaica. Use of this address for domestic U.S. shipments or any non-export purpose is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.
While many retailers honor export addresses without charging sales tax, we cannot guarantee that every seller or platform will exempt tax. Tax treatment is ultimately decided by the seller and applicable law.
Sea freight and sourcing services from China are subject to additional terms:
Our “Shop For Me” and sourcing services are provided on a best-effort basis. By using this service you acknowledge:
The following items are strictly prohibited and will not knowingly be accepted for shipment by ShipRight Courier:
Restricted items (batteries, liquids over certain volumes, electronics, etc.) may be accepted only with prior written approval and proper documentation. Additional fees and packaging requirements apply.
Packages arriving at our facilities are held free of charge for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of arrival notification.
After the free storage period, daily storage fees will be applied according to the published rate schedule available in your portal or upon request. Fees are charged per package per day.
Packages that remain unclaimed or unpaid for more than 60 days after arrival (or 30 days after written final notice) may be sold at public auction or disposed of to recover costs. Proceeds from any auction, after deducting storage, shipping, and administrative fees, will be applied to any outstanding balance. Any surplus will be held for the customer for 90 days.
You are strongly encouraged to monitor your portal and collect or arrange onward shipping of your packages promptly.
ShipRight Courier provides logistics and freight forwarding services. We are not licensed customs brokers, attorneys, or tax advisors. Any information provided on our website, in communications, or through our portal is for general guidance only and does not constitute professional advice.
You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable Jamaican import laws, U.S. export regulations, and the rules of any carrier or platform you use. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified customs broker or attorney for questions regarding duties, taxes, prohibited items, or regulatory requirements.
